Belgium's street arts are split by language and by region, with Chassepierre in the Walloon south as the historic reference and a cluster of Flemish festivals around Ghent and Antwerp in July and August. Circus is unusually well funded here, and several festivals programme contemporary circus alongside street work.

Write in the local language wherever you can. It is a small circuit and a message in the organiser's own language reads as respect, not effort.
