Synopsis
An exclusive profile of British pop superstar Robbie Williams. It took a year and a half to get permission to film a lavish dance sequence on Regent Street in London, which is owned by the British royal family. Two nights before the scheduled shoot, Queen Elizabeth II, who had spent a week in rehearsals, died and filming had to be postponed. Everyone still had to be paid, including shopkeepers and crew, and the production’s insurance did not cover the losses from the monarch’s death. The producers had to raise additional funds to film the sequence, which was shot five months later. The main character, Robbie Williams, is portrayed as a chimpanzee. Robbie Williams is not actually a chimpanzee.
